Annual Impact Report 2025
As we begin a new year, January offers a rare pause and a moment to reflect on what we’ve built before turning our focus to what comes next.
Looking back on 2025, we’re proud of the progress made at FibreLab in a year that was not without its challenges. From diverting textile waste from landfill and advancing material innovation, to supporting local designers, delivering educational workshops, and welcoming thousands of visitors into the studio, the past year reinforced the value of community-led, circular practice rooted in place.

To mark this moment, we’ve brought together our reflections, impact data and stories from the year into our Annual Impact Report for 2025. The report captures both the environmental, social, and cultural outcomes of the year, as well as the people behind the work. From our partners at The Trampery and the Hackney Wick and Fish Island Community Development Trust, to our loyal customers, team, volunteers and the wider community, none of this would be possible without the collective support and shared commitment that surrounds FibreLab.
In a political and cultural climate that often feels at odds with our shared vision for a sustainable future, I’m reminded of Margaret Mead’s words: “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” With this in mind, we thank you for being part of that change and encourage you to keep pushing alongside us to make the world a better place for all.
As we step into 2026, we’re carrying these reflections forward with clarity and intention, focused on delivering even greater positive impact in the year ahead.
