Damson Madder

Damson Madder is fashion brand founded with the intent to create slower, considerate and responsible pieces. With conscious design at the heart of their practice, the London-based brand prioritizes low-impact, long-lasting materials. For their workwear denim capsule collection, Damson Madder partnered with AMK Atelier, a small-batch producer of women’s farmwear for her local community. To reflect the intention of the collection, Damson Madder reached out to FibreLab for PaperTex swing tags.

From Damson Madder’s denim samples and production off-cuts, FibreLab created PaperTex swings tags for the pieces in the capsule collection. Printed digitally, the blue denim swing tags create a fully circular process within Damson Madder’s supply chain, turning their waste into a new resource. Even after sale, the swing tags continue to be fully circular since they can go be domestically recycled with conventional paper.

The Biodegradable Bag utilises textile waste shredded into recycled fibres and bioplastics, which act as a binder.

The negative space from the shape of the handle was creatively used to develop a pair of earrings, successfully demonstrating zero-waste cutting techniques.
